பேரன்பு (2018)

 

ராமின் படைப்பை just like that என்று கடந்து போக முடியாது. அவர் சொல்வது போல அவரின் திரைப்படம் massage parlour அல்ல அது ஒரு Art work.சில ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பு R.பாண்டிய ராஜன் இயக்கிய குறும்படத்தின் இன்னொரு வடிவம் தான் பேரன்பு..

ராமின் 4 படங்களில் இதுதான் தரத்தில் முதன்மையாக இருக்கவேண்டும்.

கதை சொல்வதில் ஒரு சிறு புதுமையை இயக்குநர் கையாண்டுள்ளார்.ஆம் இந்தத் திரைப்படத்தை ஒரு புத்தக வாசிப்பு அனுபவமாக மாற்றும் வகையில் கதையை அத்தியாயங்களாக பிரித்திருப்பது  சுவாரசியத்தைக் கூட்டியுள்ளது.

13 -14 வயது  special girl childக்கு ஏற்படும் பருவநிலை மாற்றத்தை ஒரு Single parent எப்படிக் கையாளுகிறான் என்பது கதை.திரைக்கதையும் நேர்த்தியாகவே இருக்கிறது.

மம்மூட்டி மட்டுமல்ல ஒவ்வொரு கதாபாத்திரமும் அருமை..

சில கண்ணோட்டங்கள் மட்டும் எனக்கு அதீதம் என்றே தோன்றியது.

கசக்கிப் பிழியும் சோகம் இல்லை என்றாலும் சில காட்சிகளில் நம்மை ஒரு உலுக்கு உலுக்குகிறது

"அரிது அரிது மானிடர் ஆதல் அரிது

மானிடர் ஆயினும் கூன் குருடு செவிடு

பேடு நீங்கிப் பிறத்தல் அரிது"  என்னும் ஔவை கூற்றின் படியும் கதையின் நாயகன் அமுதவாணன் சொல்வது போலவும் நான் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவன் தான். அதில் எனக்கு ஐயமில்லை..

அமேசான் பிரைமில் பார்த்தேன். குழந்தைகளுடன் பார்ப்பதைத் தவிர்க்க.

Ram’s creation cannot be passed like other creations. He quoted that his film is not a massage parlor it is an artwork. Peranbu is another form of a short film directed by R.Pandiya Rajan a few years back.

Though all Ram moves are at par with quality, This movie stands much tall. The director has made a small innovation in storytelling.Yes, the story is divided into chapters to make it a book reading experience and it enhances the mood of the movie.

The story is about how a single parent handles physical change for a 13-14-year-old special girl child. The screenplay is also neat.

Mammootty and Sadhana are outstanding in the movie and other characters have neatly done their respective role.

Only a few perspectives looked unconvincing.

Though the movie is not much of  tragedy, it does shake us up a bit in some scenes

Comparing my life with the protagonist Amuthavanan, I feel  I am blessed.

Saw it on Amazon Prime. Avoid watching with children
